The Robinsons run a
beef and lamb production unit which has recently gone into the Rural
Stewardship Scheme. They have always grown some field vegetables,
both for human consumption and as animal feed. Grant was awarded for a
single-span polytunnel to extend the growing season, availability and
choice of crops.

Thornhill Market; The Tartan Box, Stirling; Gartartan Garden Centre, Goblins
Tea Shop, Falkirk within Forth Valley and: Powmill Milk Bar, Rumbling
Bridge; Gretna Green Group outside Forth Valley. Future outlets are likely
to be Dobbies, Stirling; Moffat Toffee Shop and Scottish Water, Lake Katrine.
The grant was used to purchase a labelling machine and design of labels to
increase sales effectiveness.
