Forth Environment Link has used these resources in its programme of Square Foot Gardening workshops to community group leaders and teachers in Forth Valley throughout 201 / 2011.

The pack is a resource for community groups that helps us to explore how our food travels from where it is grown, to where it is eaten.  It is an awareness-raising tool about food.  How sustainable is the food we eat?  What are its impacts on the environment, our health, our communities and our local economy?

fel_logo.jpgForth Environment Link has given it's website a Spring-clean!  The new site gives a more up-to-date picture of the range of work being carried out in Forth Valley, and allows speedier and more accessible access to the site for visitors. In addition to the top and leading stories, the visitor can access the five projects currently being delivered: the Zero Waste Volunteer Programme, Forth Valley Real Nappy Network, Callander House Walled Garden, FEL Environmental Education Service, and of course, Forth Valley Food Links.
