Good Response to Forth Valley Orchard Survey PDF Print E-mail

A very positive response has been received from both landowners and the public for the first phase of the Forth Valley Orchard Regeneration Initiative. Mapping the orchards and fruit trees of Forth Valley (Clackmannanshire, Falkirk & Stirling areas) is underway and good progress is being made.

rab_scotts.jpg In the course of the survey, many people have come forward offering information about old orchards, several relating to the orchard at Drumdruills in Bridge of Allan.  We were therefore delighted when the Great-Great Grandson of the originator of the orchard contacted us.
