Central Scotland Green Network has launched a Development Fund 2010-11, for projects that will help develop the Central Scotland Green Network on the ground. 

Eligible projects include: –
Woodland/tree planting and/or management must be a significant part of the proposal.  Eligible projects would include: woodland creation and management; creation of a high quality landscape structure which supports development plan settlement strategies (including accessible greenspace for communities); strategic routes for active travel and recreation; strategic habitat networks and habitat development projects; the restoration of vacant and derelict land for green network purposes; the integration of woodland, habitat, greenspace and access development with water catchment and coastal zone management.

Central Scotland Green Network Consultation Event Series - The Central Scotland Green Network will hold a series of interactive workshops to enable people to learn about the network and contribute.  The Forth Valley workshop will take place on 25 May at the Tolbooth, Stirling.  Booking forms are at http://www.centralscotlandgreennetwork.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=26&Itemid=26.
